L'Echo | De Tijd reinforce their digital charter with a fourth pillar

No medium in Belgium is trusted as much as L'Echo and De Tijd (Kantar TNS 2018). Mediafin, publisher of the business newspapers, invests like no other in reliability and quality and this leads to its strong track record of recent years. Mediafin attaches great importance to "reliability", both towards readers and advertisers. That is why L’Echo and De Tijd added a fourth pillar to their digital charter.

Digital charter: new – Brand safety

In 2017, L'Echo and De Tijd pioneered with the launch of the first digital charter in the Belgian advertising market. Ever since, the business newspapers have set the tone for reliable advertising based on three guarantees: 100% human traffic, 100% viewability and 100% data protection (GDPR).

This week, L'Echo and De Tijd reinforced their commitment to the advertiser with a fourth guarantee. The extension of this charter with brand safety makes it possible for brands to advertise digitally in full confidence on | The business newspapers ensure that the advertiser's campaign only appears in a news context that safeguards the full impact of the campaign, without any false or dubious associations.

Each campaign is only seen by real people (not robots) in a secure news context for the advertiser's brand and with respect to the privacy of the reader. To ensure these 4 guarantees, Mediafin continuously invests in new technologies and tools. This translated into partnerships with Moat, Adhese and now also AdmantX for brand safety.
